Teach yourself HTML

Lessons

Teach Yourself HTML is an idiot's guide to learning the language of the Web. If you ever want to write your own web site, then you need to know how to write HTML. Even if you use a WYSIWYG editor such as Microsoft Frontpage or AOLPress, you still need to know how to write HTML so that you can make minor adjustments to your page that the program cannot support.

To use this tutorial effectively, you need an application that can save files as text only (such as Notepad in Windows), a graphics editing package (such as Paint Shop Pro 5), a copy of the lesson files (obtainable from here) and a copy of the lesson you are using (either on the web or downloaded to your hard disk).

As with the rest of the site, we are still under construction, and we should have one new lesson available every week for at least the next four weeks.
